Katsumasa (Masa) Yonetani

For the past few years, I have dedicated myself to creating paintings to donate to art auctions that raise funds for local schools. This is an expression of my gratitude towards the community I have lived in for so long, as well as towards my wife, a former teacher who supported me throughout my life – and my daughter, who is a teacher today. I used to paint mainly landscapes, but as my eyesight has declined with age, I have shifted toward subjects that require less intricate detail. My wish is to continue enjoying painting and contributing to my community in this way for as long as I can.
